You're raising virtual petz, puppiez and kittenz, as if they were real.  okay, so maybe you're not interested, but in my humble opinion it's one of the best programs out there.

I got Dogz 5 for Christmas, but I've been playing since Dogz 1 was released.  My stepdad got it for his birthday one year and I grew attached.  I raised a Chip (see: pixelated Scottie) named Midnight.  Soon, I came to understand that Petz II would be introduced.  Ecstatic, I made my parents buy it for me.

During my Petz II phase, I had a lovely little site named Foster Kennels that actually got a good number of hits.  It was kind of pathetic, but always worth an attempt.  After some hate mail, boredom with the site, and loss of interest in the program, Foster Kennels was shut down.

Soon, Petz 3 was introduced. OMG, YOU CAN BREED!!!!  lol, so, I bought it as soon as it was available and imported my favorite petz.  Sure enough, the couples bred and I had more puppiez and kittiez than I knew what to do with.  I found myself switching folders once a week for which set of twenty petz I would play with!  Finally, after a computer crash, I lay Petz 3 to rest.

When Petz 4 came out, I wasn't all that into the Petz scene, but I bought them anyway.  I adopted a handful of dogz and catz and downloaded a handful of breedz.  I lost interest quickly and let it go.

Petz 5.  Years later.  I randomly check the petz.com website and OMG THEY ARE COMING BACK!  I make my parents buy me Dogz 5 for Christmas, I import my Dogz 4 dogz, and here I am today.  I am back in love with my Dogz as if Midnight has come back again.

Desc: Giant.  He was originally named Linnaeus, the nickname of my ex-boyfriend.  However, after the break-up, I decided breeding Linnaeus and Tussle was not kosher, seeing as how Tussle was one of my nicknames.  I then named him after my first Dane, Giant.  This Giant is a big, galumphing sweetheart.  He reminds me everyday why I do not own a Great Dane in real life!  lol.

Desc: Mutley is the most carefree dogz I have ever owned.  Another dog gets mad at him, what does he do?  He jumps up and catches the frisbee.  He and Karissa get along well, though she sometimes decides she doesn't like him because he caught the frisbee and not her.  He just blows it off and chases the green flying disc yet again.  Mutley is named for my aunt's deceased Golden Retriever, Mutley, who actually was female.  But he is a tribute and not the original Mutley.

Desc: Rusty is a bit hyperactive at times, but always a lot of fun.  He is so cute when he's around Mixer, because he follows her around in attempts to make her like him.  After about ten minutes and three different playscenes, she'll finally stop and look at him and make the "let's be friends" symbol of putting her paw out.  The ladies man, Angel also pouts when he gets put away!  Rusty is named for the mutt my grandad had as a child, Rusty.  Granted, this is a completely different breed of dog, but I'm not that creative.

Desc: SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE HER SISTER KARISSA!  Seriously, I saw the picture and thought, "Hey, Karissa was already born..."  One thing I have noticed, is even as an infant, Julioch has a natural posing ability (not that this picture shows it...the unicorn was in all the good pictures).  One weird thing I've noticed is she can't bark!  Honestly!  She makes absolutely no noises!  It scares me.  o.o;  Like her other siblings, Julioch was named for an Age of Wonders II wizard...the most evil of them all.

He has a sole spot, which is kind of cute.  I got his name because he looked like a bunch of dogz mucked together.
