 This site originally only had one purpose.  To show off the pretty pictures of myself I had just taken.  Well, soon, I found I wanted to make a page for my best friend at the time, Katie.  Then I wanted to make a page for my boyfriend at the time, Wes.  Then I wanted to make a page for a kid I didn't like, Theory.  Next thing I knew, this single page had grown into a network of pages that I had named All Alone in my White Girl Pain.

I chose that name because at the time I had been obsessed with the Ben Folds song "Rocking the Suburbs."  My favorite lines were "Lemme tell ya'll what it's like, bein male middle classd and white.  It's a bitch if you don't believe.  So listen up to my new CD, sham on." and "I'm all alone in my white boy pain."  Feeling that this song exemplified me, only I'm female, I adapted it for the site.

The original version was uploaded onto Angelfire, so I could bounce it off my friends.  They loved it.  My friend Adam even volunteered to let me have a place on his domain to have my website.  I did until the FTP stopped working on my computer.  Then I made the painful move...to Tripod (AHHHH!)  Until I can manage to find a way to make the FTP work again, let me tell ya'll what it's like, being broke...lol.
